August 26, 2019 The Federal Bureau of Prisons Metropolitan Detention Center Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, intends to issue solicitation 15B30619Q000000029 for the procurement of its Ion Scanner, for the FY-2019. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516. This solicitation requires the following items BRAND NAME ONLY (Exact Match); LI 0001: ION-SCAN 600 non-rad Trace Detector with integrated printer, LI 0002: Sampling Wand, LI 0003: On-site Service Agreement, LI 0004: Verification Pen, LI 0005: Swab multi-packs, and LI 0006: Shipping (destination). Delivery will be 120 After Receipt of Order. The contract Type is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted set aside as to business size. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.1102 Policy requires all contractors seeking or currently doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award; information can be obtained at https://www.sam.gov/. The Government reserves the right to award item by item, or in groups of items, or in aggregate, whichever is most advantageous to the Government by responsive, responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Payments will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Upon request, vendors may be required to provide samples of product quoted, prior to award.
