Attached is a solicitation package prepared by Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida, for the provision of backflow preventers and reduced pressure assemblies for the Correctional Complex located at 846 NE 54th Terrace Coleman, Florida. This package contains all necessary information to submit a quote. Those documents are as follows: SF-1449 (Solicitation); Description of Requirements which will be available for download. The SF 1449 is to be used to submit with the quote. It is important to notice that under Section B of Description of Requirements it states that all items shall be delivered within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date the Delivery Order/Purchase Order is executed. Also, under Section C of Description of Requirement, it shows the breakdown of the items that the vendor shall provide under this solicitation and explains the required compliance. All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes Far Clause FAR 52.204-12 Unique Entity Identifier Maintenance, which states, the contractor shall ensure that the unique entity identifier is maintained with the entity designated at the System for Award Management (SAM) and FAR 52.204-7 System for Award Management. Quoters should include their Unique Entity Identifier in their quotes. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential awardees unique entity identifier into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for award. Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to Smuniz@bop.gov and D1barr@bop.gov in pdf format only and will be deemed received at the time as indicated on the email notification. Faxed and hand delivered quotes will not be accepted. Quotes received after the quote deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) which states late submissions, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers. (1) Offerors are responsible for submitting offers, and any modifications, revisions, or withdrawals, so as to reach the Government office designated in the solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation. If no time is specified in the solicitation, the time for receipt is 4:30 p.m., local time, for the designated Government office on the date that offers or revisions are due.
