The Federal Correctional Institution, Berlin, New Hampshire intends to issue a solicitation for FY 2020 1st Quarter Bread & Dairy (weekly deliveries). This bread portion of this solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. The Dairy portion is not set-a-aside. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price type contract from this solicitation. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price. The solicitation will be available on or about August 15, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fbo.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The Government may make single or multiple awards without discussions; therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Per FAR 52.204-7, all contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Payments will be made using the Government Purchase Card for orders under $10,000.00.
