FDC PHILADELPHIA FY21 SECURITY WINDOW GLAZING SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center Philadelphia, intends to issue solicitation 15B21721Q0000019 for the acquisition of Security Window Glazing. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing, FOB Destination. This is a Small Business Set-Aside only. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center, 700 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106. Contractors preparing quotes are reminded to review all documentation provided under this solicitation. A statement of work describing exactly what is required, is attached. The following documents will be required for consideration: • Product data for each security glazing type which includes materials, thickness, method of test, and performance. • Test reports must show compliance with specified requirements. • Certification by manufacturer that products supplied comply with performance requirements specified. • Certification by manufacturer that all materials used in glazing assembly are compatible. • Shop drawings showing glazing products and installation procedures. • Maintenance data covering cleaning and protection requirements. Upon award, the contractor will be required to submit one sample, 12”x12” of each product specified, for review by FDC Philadelphia Facilities staff. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Please include shipping in all pricing. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 26, 2021 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website transitioned to www.beta.SAM.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
