LOCAL AREA SET ASIDE The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Detention Center located at 700 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, and incidentals, unless stated otherwise in this document, to fabricate 330 security window screens per the listed specifications and have completed security window screens delivered to the specified address. Painting and installation of the aforementioned security screens will be completed by FDC Philadelphia. Strict adherence to the dimensions listed within the specifications must be achieved to prevent unnecessary and time consuming field modifications during the installation of the security window screens. The Contractor shall fabricate 330 security window screens per the attached drawings using the following materials provided by FDC Philadelphia: QTY Description Forty-Three (43) 15‘ Pieces of 1-3/4” x 1-3/4” x 3/16” Angle Iron, Two Hundred-Sixty-Seven (267) 15‘ Pieces of 2” x 2” x 3/16” Angle Iron, Forty-Five (45) 4’ x 8’ x 1/8” Perforated Sheets that have been pre-cut with 3/8” holes 1/2” staggered on center. The fabrication will be completed at the Contractor’s facility and not at FDC Philadelphia. The rate of fabrication and delivery shall be no less than 25 security window screens per week until a total of 330 security window screens have been received. The first delivery will be completed within 14 calendar days from the date of submittal approval. Completion of the total performance period will not exceed fifteen (15) weeks from the date of Notice to Proceed. Materials will be delivered to Contractor's facility by PDC Philadelphia. The contractor shall fabricate one (1) security window screen within five (5) days from receiving the Notice to Proceed and provide to FDC Philadelphia for inspection / approval prior to initiating mass production.
