FDC PHILADELPHIA FY21 1ST/2ND QTR BREAD SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center Philadelphia, intends to issue solicitation 15B21721Q00000001 for the acquisition of fresh bread products. The estimated quarterly quantities are: 4,848 PK Hot Dog Buns, 8,480 PK Hamburger Buns and 24,816 LF Sliced Sandwich Bread. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of October 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center, 700 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106 once a week. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible vendor whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, and with past performance and price considered equivalent (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 27, 2020 and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website transitioned to www.beta.SAM.gov. Faith based and community based organizations can submit offers/ quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of receipt of quotes is September 4, 2020 8:00am EST. Payment will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or purchase card. Each vendor is required to be registered in www.SAM.gov complete with representations and certifications.
