The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Elkton, Ohio intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of: Repair/Rebuild Chiller. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, Completion of work is estimated to be 25 days from the commencement of the project. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 17, 2021, and will be posted to www.beta.SAM.gov . All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for requirements for the repair/rebuild of Tran Centrifugal Chiller (Model# CVHLE500) at FCI Elkton. Vendor must submit detailed pricing, all requested documentation required in the SOW as well as valid proof of insurance with the quote. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 05, 2021 at 2:00 pm. EST. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included. Interested contractors must email Mr. Holisky, General Foreman at gholisky@bop.gov by July 26th at 12:00 pm EST to obtain necessary clearance paperwork needed to enter the facility. *NOTE: It is acceptable to quote an "equal to" product for the panel and display, (See Page 2, Section 2 (t) of the SOW). When submitting an "equal to" product, detailed specifications must be provided to ensure the product will be compatible with the Chiller and the Building Management System.
