The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McKean, Bradford, Pennsylvania, intends to issue solicitation 15B20921Q00000003 for the requirements of: 1ST QUARTER BREAD FY2021. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin October 1, 2020 and run throughout the period of performance. (October 1, 2020 through December 31st, 2020.) Weekly deliveries will be made to the FCI McKean Warehouse, 6975 Route 59, Lewis Run, PA 16738, 15 Miles South of Bradford, PA. Bread will be delivered on plastic racks in quantities determined by the inmate population. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offerors whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, with prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be available on August 20th, 2020, and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: beta.sam.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through this site.
