Food Services Contractor: The United States Penitentiary, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, is soliciting quotations under 15b20719q00000009 to provide Kosher Subsistence items. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a quote. When submitting quotes, respondents should consider all information provided in the RFQ. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format, and submission of quotes Delivery limitations are provided per line item. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (sam.gov) database pursuant FAR 52.212-4. If you are not registered, please go to www.sam.gov to complete the registration process. Respondents shall include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS). The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential contractor's DUNS into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedure as outline in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for the award. o Faxed or electronically submitted quotations are required o Fax or email the complete RFQ. o Quotations must be received no later than May 31st, 2019, 8:00am EST Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 (f). Please quote delivered pricing. (FOB Destination) Vendors are required to notify the Food Service Administrators within one week of receiving an order if they will be late or unable to ship any of the items awarded. Voicemail messages are not sufficient. All items must have a minimum of a 90 day shelf life from the date that the product is delivered to the institutional warehouse. This includes best by dates and expiration dates. The entire order must be delivered by September 30th, 2019. Any vendor who fails to deliver any awarded item(s) will receive an unfavorable past performance rating which may negatively affect future awards.
