The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens, Massachusetts intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 (b), as there is only one source. This award will be for the service and maintenance contract, including parts, for the GE XR656 Digital Radiographic Machine and GE Flash pad. The period of performance for this procurement will be from October 2024, through September 30, 2025. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through GE PRECISION HEALTHCARE LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by October 7th, 2024, 10:00 A.M. (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size, and UEI Number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to GE healthcare. Responses may be emailed to ccoushaine@bop.gov by the deadline stated above.
