*Amendment 1* FMC Devens is posting the questions and answers asked during solicitation 15B20522Q00000020. Please see attached. *End of Amendment 1* The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Devens, Massachusetts, is issuing solicitation 15B20522Q00000020 for the provision of Medical Gas Services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The services will be provided to Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens. The physical address of FMC Devens is 42 Patton Road, Ayer, MA 01432. The contract type is an indefinite/delivery requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be based on Price and Past Performance. See statement of work for a more detailed description of the requirement. The solicitation will be available and distributed solely through the SAM website at www.SAM.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The date for receipt of quotes is April 28th, 2022 at 10am. FMC Devens will conduct a site visit on 4/19/2022 at 10am EST. To attend this site visit, you must submit NCIC forms to CCoushaine@bop.gov by 4/15/2022 4pm EST for each individual who wants to attend. Synopsis of solicitation: 4/8/2022 Solicitation posted to www.SAM.gov 4/15/2022 4 pm NCIC forms due to attend FMC Devens site visit. 4/19/2022 10am Site Visit at FMC Devens 4/20/2022 10am Written questions are due 4/26/2022 Written questions and answers posted to www.SAM.gov 4/28/2022 10am Solicitation closes, quotes are due. 5/9/2022 10am Anticipated award date All potential quoters are advised that this solicitation includes the provision 52.204-7 System for Award Management. This provision reads: FAR 52.204-7(b)(1) “An Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer or quotation, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.”. Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number/ Unique Entity ID (UEI) in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS/UEI number into the SAM database. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 325120 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation is set-aside for small business.
