The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center(FMC) Devens, MA intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 , as there is only one source, to GE Healthcare, 3000 N. Grandview Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. This award will be for the service repair, including parts, for the GE XR656 Digital Radiographic Machine. The NAICS code is 811310. The period of performance for this procurement will be from October 01, 2021 through September 30, 2022. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through GE Healthcare. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for GE Healthcare. Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by October 10, 2021 12:00 P.M. (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
