Danbury, Connecticut intends to issue an emergency award to Charm-Tex for the acquistion of 700 inmate mattresses. Charm-Tex has a GSA schedule and award was made off of this schedule. Charm-Tex is able to provide the items in an expedited manner allowing for contiuity of operations at FCI Danbury while combating this issue. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a Urgent and Compelling procurement under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-2).
