Dear Offeror: Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Memphis, TN, Contracting Office, for the acquisition of various edible food items for our facility. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a request for quote for evaluation. In submitting the request for quote, offerors should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format and submission of your quote. Partial orders on individual items unless it exceeds one (1)truck load will not be accepted (Fill or Kill). Delivery dates are from April 1, 2021 thru June 30, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.CST. All potential offerors are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5(Apr 2005) for Commercial Items, System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to register in the SAM database at sam.gov. Offerors should include their Data Universal Number System(DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. This information is included in this solicitation in the provision FAR 52.212-1(Jan 2005) Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. Offers shall be received on or before the deadline via email, or mail. Award notifications will be made via e-mail so please include your e-mail address. See solicitation for deadline.
