The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. This requirement will encompass the provision of onsite clinics to include prosthetic and orthotics appliances. These onsite clinics and appliance fittings will be performed in the Health Services Department for the prisoners held in the custody of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington, Kentucky. The requirement for these appliances will consist of an estimated 24 clinic/sessions per year (twice a month). Each clinic/session is defined as three (3) hour in length. It is anticipated the clinics/sessions will be required Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. excluding Federal holidays. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and the Bureau of Prisons will be determined following award of a BPA. The performance period will be for a base year, being 12 months from the estimated date of award and four 12 month option periods. DATA COLLECTED FROM THIS SURVEY IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
