The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center(FMC) Butner, NC intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.501(a)(1), as there is only one source, to GE Precision Healthcare, 3000 N. Grandview Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188-1615. This award will be for full service maintenance agreement for the Radiology Equipment. The following items are covered against the maintenance agreement: MEDRAD MV PR MEDRAD STELLANT FLEX INJECTOR, POWERWARE MV PR POWERWARE UPS 10KVA, MEDRAD MV PR MEDRAD STELLANT D, GE WORKSTATION ADVANTAGE WORKSTATION 4.7, GE CT OPTIMA CT580W, GE XR PRECISION 500D, GE XR AMX 240-DIGITAL MOBILE X-RAY SYSTEM, GE XR FLASHPAD- DIGITAL WIRELESS DETECTOR, GE XR FlashPad – Digital Wireless Detector, GE XR Definium 646 HD, GE MR 1.5T HDX EXHOSPEED (NON-MOBILE), GE MR MR MAGNET MAINTENANCE AND CRYOGEN, GE NM DISCOVERY NIM 630, GE WORKSTATION XELERIS WORKSTATION 3.X, GE PET DISCOVERY MI-3 RING, GE XR OEC SERIES 9900 ELITE, GE UL LOGIQ E9 R4/R5, GE UL VIVID E9 XDCLEAR NON 4D, and GE XR FLASHPAD- DIGITAL WIRELESS DETECTOR. The NAICS code is 811310. The period of performance for this procurement will be from October 01, 2023 through September 30, 2024. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through GE Precision Healthcare. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by December 22, 2023 12:00 P.M. (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
