The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC Butner), intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to repair boiler tube. Replacement of the boiler tubes in the FMC #3 boiler and the LSCI #3 boiler. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - only responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 238220. To the best of our knowledge, C & C Boiler is the only provider for this service. This is a firm-fixed price contract for the performance of approximately 60 days upon delivery and installation of supplies for completion Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by Friday, April 24, 2023. 11 a.m. EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to C & C Boiler.
