The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B10622Q0000019 for the award of a firm-fixed-price service contract for a project entitled Replacement Elevator Controls at Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner, North Carolina. FCC Butner is a Federal Correctional Complex located at Old NC Highway 75, Butner, NC 27509. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor, to include removal for the completion of work. The purpose of the project is to Replacement Elevators Controls # 5, 6, and 7 at the FCC Butner’s Federal Medical Center (FMC). The work will include replacement of elevator controls in accordance with SOW. Performance period for the project will be 203 calendar days/ 7 days =29 weeks from issuance of the award. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $25,000 and 150,000. (Note: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimated/budget lies somewhere within that range. The solicitation will be available approximately on or about February 17, 2022.
