The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina intends to make a single award for the provision of Non-Emergent Medical Transportation Services for the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner, North Carolina. This contract will consists of furnishing all necessary equipment, labor, materials to transport FCC Butner inmates to outside medical appointments at local Physician/Hospital offices in accordance with the Statement or Work and specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 – Ambulance Services. (Size Standard: $16.5 Million dollars). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed prices resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated solicitation date will be on or about April 7, 2021 with a due date of April 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST and an Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is May 1, 2021. The resulting contract will include a base year from the EDOA through 12 months from EDOA with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates requiring specific Ambulance and Medical Transportation Services for the base period and the twelve - month option periods. All services shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.
