The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award to provide solid waste landfill for the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner located in Butner, NC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562212 (Size Standard: $41,500,000). This solicitation is being issued as unrestrictive. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a one year base period with four one year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Government anticipates a landfill to dispose an estimated quantity of 3300 tons of solid waste and construction debris per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 05, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Services will be performed at the contractor's disposal facility which must be approved by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources and operated in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local codes and laws as well as meet EPA Requirements and standards. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The Government anticipates an estimated quantity of 3300 tons of solid waste and construction debris for one base year and four option year. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
