The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Ashland located in Ashland, Kentucky, intends to issue solicitation for the requirements of: FULL SYSTEM UPGRADE This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333914. Installation will start on or before May 1, 2020. The contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.1102 Policy requires all contractors seeking or currently doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Information can be obtained at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards based on best value. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: price, past performance, quality, comparison with other offers, and administrative cost. It is anticipated from time of award to completion of the project, a performance period of 70 calendar days is required. Payments will be made using the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). The solicitation will be made available on or about March 18, 2020, and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.beta.SAM.gov . All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 2, 2020, by 1:00 PM. However, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation, block #8, for the actual date and time quotations are due.
