As part of the mission of the FPC , Pharmacy services are provided to the inmate population. Medication is distributed daily to the inmate population. The current Pharmacist position is vacant; therefore an on-site contract Pharmacist is critical to the orderly operation of the FPC. Additionally, inmates with medical conditions are monitored daily through distribution of medication(s). A disruption of pharmacy services would be detrimental to the orderly operations of the FPC. This action is for the acquisition of contract Pharmacist services is only during the vacancy of the Pharmacist position. The services are to cover April 1 - 30, 2022. ** The original requisition was estimated for 64 hours, which is under the threshold to report to FPDS-NG and post as a Contract Opportunity. Upon an increase in requested hours due to the resignation of the Pharmacist, additional funding put the contract over the monetary reporting threshold, at which time a Sole Source Justification was created.
