Medication is distributed daily to the inmate population. The current PHS Pharmacist is no available, therefore an on-site Contract Pharmacist is critical to the orderly operations for the FPC> Additionally, inmates with medical conditions are monitored daily through distribution of medication(s). A disruption of pharmacy services would be detrimental to the orderly operations of the FPC. This action is for the acquisition of contract Pharmacist services is only during the absence of the PHS Pharmacist.
