The current PHS Pharmacist is not available, the... As a part of the mission of the FPC, Pharmacy services are provided to the inmate population. Medication is distributed daily to the inmate population. The current PHS Pharmacist is not available, therefore, an on-site contract Pharmacist is critial to the orderly operation of the FPC. Additionally, inmates with medical conditions are monited daily through distribution of medication(s). A disruption of pharmacy services would be detrimental to the orderly operations of the FPC. This action is for the acquisition of contract Pharmacist services is only during the absence of the PHS Pharmacist.
