It has been determined that Trane Corporation shall furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipement associated with the integration of the building automation system on one air handler at FPC Alderson, WV. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR 13.5 and soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR 13.106 (b) (1). For purchases not exceeding the SAT, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. It has been determined that Trane Corporation shall furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment associated with the integration of the building automation system on one air handler in Housing Unit A, at the Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV, into the Trane Tracer control system. Trane UC600 and Trane UC400 controllers. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR 13.5 and soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR 13.106 (b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the SAT, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the appointed due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
