The procurement of medical services is urgent in nature and in an effort to maintain and provide continuity of care to the inmate population. There are no other available sources that could provide the service in the timeframe required by the Government. The acquisition of these services is necessary pending the award of a comprehensive medical services contract at the Field Acquisition Office.
