The purpose of this contract is to engage the services of a qualified consulting firm and/or other highly seasoned econometric modeling and auditing professional(s) to provide actuarial consulting/advisory support-related services to HUD OIG. Services shall be in connection with and support of HUD OIG’s audit of Ginnie Mae’s fiscal year 2019 stand-alone commercial GAAP-based financial statements in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards. Specifically, the contractor shall serve as a subject matter expert and shall be capable of providing technical guidance and assistance in developing econometric models that will be used in performing independent point estimates of the following: Ginnie Mae’s accounting estimates; Allowance for Purchase Not Credit Impaired (PNCI) Loans; Allowance for Troubled Debt Restructuring (TDR)/Purchase Credit Impaired (PCI) Loans; Accrued Interest Receivable and Guarantee Assets/Guarantee Obligation (GA/GO).
