This is a notice that, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulatioin (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the US Depaartment of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) intends to award a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantitty contract to purchase subscription services to a databse provider that will be used to confirm rents by owners and Section 8 Project based contracts. The reliable and verificable data will be used to support determinations made on mortgage insurance applications and Section 8 Contracts. Data must be accepted by the multifamily and commercial real estate industry, as the data will be used to verify data submitted by owners and lenders who used licensed appraisers and verifiable data on their applications and rent requests. This notice of intent is to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information submitted shall be sufficient to determine capability in providing the data services required by HUD.
