Purpose This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information Notices issued solely for information and planning purposes. The purpose of this notice is to obtain market information regarding market capacity and potential set-asides and to receive industry feedback on available processes and market costs. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal nor does it serve as a presolicitation notice for a future solicitation. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals related to these services. This notice does not commit the Government to procure any supply or service mentioned herein. Background (OFSS) is seeking a provider or providers to administer the Flu Vaccinations to HUD Field Office employees in approximately sixty-four (64) locations. The anticipated number of employees seeking HUD funded flu vaccinations is estimated to be anywhere from 100 to 1,500 nationwide. The flu can cause some serious complications that sometimes require hospitalization, such as dehydration, worsening of chronic illnesses, bacterial pneumonia, ear infections and sinus infections. Therefore, the Department’s funding of flu vaccinations for HUD employees will assist in minimizing the health risk for employees’, help to stop the spread of the flu and reduces agency cost by reducing absences due to illness, resulting in improved productivity. Proper vaccine administration is critical to ensure that vaccination is safe and effective. As recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), health care personnel who administer the flu vaccines must have received comprehensive, competency-based training on vaccine administration policies and procedures BEFORE administering vaccines. Documentation to support that flu vaccinations will be administered by licenses professionals will be required in support of HUD’s approval of the appropriate provider. Instructions Interested parties are requested to respond to this Sources Sought with the following information: Full identifying firm information such as name, address, UEI, and contact information for point of contact; A capability statement that addresses (a) the interested party’s ability to provide the vaccines to HUD employees nationwide, including the typical vaccine process offered under similar projects, (b) average cost/range per person (for market research purposes), (c) similar projects performed, and (d) potential subcontractors or teaming arrangements/joint ventures; Information regarding the interested party’s business type (such as large, small, 8(a) certified, HUBZone) under the established NAICS code, 621399, with a size standard of $9 million; Any questions and/or comments that your firm may have. All responses must be received by 5:00pm Eastern Time on Monday, November 21, 2022. Please submit responses via email to the Contracting Officer at Shelli.J.Waltz@hud.gov. Summary This notice is issued for information purposes only and will not result in a contract award. This is not a Request for Proposal. Interested parties are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Responding or declining to respond to this notice will not preclude a party from participating in any future Requests for Proposal should the Government decide to issue such a request at a later date. If a Request for Proposal is issued, it will be posted as a separate notice on SAM.gov.
