The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Welin Lambie Ltd., newly manufactured TW.PIV 5.0B davits, overhaul of davits, stock parts, kits, and Welin Lambie certified technical representatives The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these supplies or training. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM, Welin Lambie. It is the Government's belief that only Welin Lambie, in the United Kingdom, has the capability to provide the services and supplies due to the fact that they are OEM. However, potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies and OEM authorized technical services. This information shall include, but is not limited to: (1) Data that the required support and supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; AND (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, which verifies the interested party’s authority to supply OEM support manufactured items and parts to the Government and provide the necessary overhaul services. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. The above information must be received no later than five (5) business days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period may not be considered.
