USCGC WAESCHE (WMSL 751) DS FY22 Q2 The USCG, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), CPD-C&P2, is currently seeking qualified sources to perform DS repairs of the USCGC WAESCHE (WMSL 751), a 418 foot National Security Cutter home ported at Coast Guard Island in Alameda, California. The planned period of performance will be on or about February 1, 2022 through April 26, 2022. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Cutter's home port at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, California. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION - None Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Tanks (Aviation Fuel Stowage and Overflow), Clean and Inspect Tanks (MP Fuel Service), Clean and Inspect Tanks (Ballast), Clean and Inspect Tanks (Ballast), Preserve “Partial” Refrigeration System Rupture Disks, Leak Test Fuel Manifold, Overhaul Talon Grid, Inspect and Test Port Monitor AFFF Motor Operated Valve, Overhaul Main Drain Valve, Renewal Decks, Preserve (Full) Deck Covering (Polymeric), Replace Deck Covering (Polymeric), Repair and Seal Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant), Flight Deck, Renew Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant), Renew Tenting, Provide AFFF Bilge Sprinkling Piping, Modify Tank Sounding Tube, Replace QAATD/QAWTD, Replace (NSC2)-Remaining 2 Ship Service Diesel Generator (No. 3) Exhaust Piping, Modify HVAC System (Cleaning Gear Locker & Protective Clothing Storeroom), Modify Cargo Handling Elevator, Annual Inspection and Test, Perform Interested parties must submit the following: (a) Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) (b) Capability to perform work similar to the above work items. (c) Past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above.
