Notice of Intent to Limit Sources This requirement is for services in which the Government intends limit sources established under Federal Supply Schedules. The justification is prepared in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(c) for the use of sources limited to fewer than those required in FAR 8.405-1, FAR 8.405-2, and FAR 8.405-3. This synopsis notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 5.204 requiring the contracting officer to synopsize a proposed contract action before issuing any resulting solicitation. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement, on a sole source basis, to continue its information technology support from operations and maintenance, technical support, student, faculty, and staff training, system and network administration, to software adaptive maintenance for the United States Coast Guard Academy for its stand-alone education domain (.edu) for a period of one year. This notice is being issued for informational purposes only. The USCG expects to release a solicitation for this requirement early August 2020. In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i) within 14 days after placing an order exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the justification will be posted at the GPE.
