This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for information and planning purposes, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. All participants are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs that result from responding to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. The purpose of this RFI is for the USCG to gain an understanding of the capabilities and availability of material handling and rigging assets, operators, and services in the greater Baltimore area for a sustained, extended time period of time for the local offload of heavy marine and electrical systems equipment, machinery skids, pallets, and tri-walls from delivery trucks, and placement of items in a government-owned or government leased warehouse facility. The USCG would also like to gain information about the approach potential service providers would take in addressing these requirements. Please review attached document for full details.
