This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or services.*** The land mobile radio (LMR) tactical communications modernization system, sponsored by the Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Program within the Program Management Division (PMOD), U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is undertaking the modernization effort process to provide much needed enhancements and improved operational capabilities to LMR systems used by personnel supporting the missions of the Office of Border Patrol (OBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO), and Office of Air and Marine (OAM) in the Southwest comprising an area extending from San Diego, CA to Del Rio, TX.
