The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) Acquisition Division (AD) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), 44 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 200, Alexandria, VA 22314 pursuant to FAR Part 13.106(b) for booth rental services at the IACP 2023 Annual Conference & Exposition from October 14, 2023 to October 17, 2023 in San Diego, California. The contractor shall provide island booth space for the exposition that is 20 feet x 60 feet (120 square feet). FPS AD believes that IACP is the only vendor that can provide booth space at the conference. This is a sole source notice of intent published for informational purposes only, not a request for quote. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement, including costs/prices, by 1:00 pm ET by May 10, 2023 that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via e-mail, to Dina Herron, Contract Specialist, at dina.herron@fps.dhs.gov and Melissa Stolle, Contracting Officer, at melissa.stolle@fps.dhs.gov. The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
