The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of eight (8) each 400 HZ motor controllers, part number 4834-580813-27483 from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). These supplies required to support the 270’ WMEC class cutters. The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these supplies. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM, Ward Leonard, LLC. It is the Government's belief that only Ward Leonard, LLC, in Thomaston, CT, has the capability to manufacture these supplies due to the fact that they are the OEM of this design. However, potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies. This information shall include, but is not limited to: (1) Data that the required supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; AND (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, which verifies the interested party’s authority to supply OEM support manufactured parts to the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. The above information must be received no later than five (5) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period may not be considered.
