CBP’s Laboratories and Scientific Services intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to Orange Photonics for two portable cannabis analyzers for laboratory and field use. The analyzers must be human-portable, self-contained, analyze samples in under 20 minutes, store data onboard, and transfer files/results to USB. The requirement includes inside delivery, setup, initial software configuration, in-person training, hard-sided carrying cases, and accessories/consumables for 200 scans, 100 per unit. All deliverables, including setup and training, must be completed within 30–60 calendar days after contract award. This is neither an RFP nor an invitation for bids; interested parties may email their interest and capabilities, and if no responses are received, a quotation will be requested from Orange Photonics.
