In general terms, the project is meant to provide an alert and warning system for those potentially affected by flooding and debris flows. These fires have damaged cell towers, equipment and, in some cases, Weather Alert system equipment leaving residents in areas with no way to be warned of dangerous flooding levels. Thus, this is a life and property saving measure. The intended Scope of this project is the Vendor to provide a fully functional audible warning system, installed on Class 2 poles complete with autonomous power supply in order to warn communities of evacuation notices. Once Monsoon season has passed, the intent is to have the sirens and associated equipment removes and each site returned to as close to pre-installation condition as possible.
