This is a notice of intent as required by FAR 5.203(a). US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) intends to solicit and negotiate directly with the national Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (NLETS), 1918 W. Whispering Wind Drive, Phoenix AZ 85085, for access to the Nlets web-based query service. Currently there are no other vendors that provide a comparable or comprehensive service that meet the unique needs of the E-Verify program. At this time, only one source can provide the infrastructure, query service, and state data required by USCIS and the E-Verify program. No formal solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competative quotes. However, prospective contractors who believe they can successfully quote must provide specific and detailed technical documentation to support such claims of ability. The Government will review any submittials recieved in response to this notice prior to June 16, 2023. All documentation must be submitted via email. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
