The purpose of this synopsis is to fulfill the requirements of FAR 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions, relating to modifications to existing contracts. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its organizational components require a wide variety of medical supplies for federal personnel who perform emergency medical services and personal protective equipment (PPE) for its operational and pandemic mission-critical needs. DHS currently has seven Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with the following contractors: HSBP1015A00032: NAR Medical Depot, LLC HSBP1015A00034: Bound Tree Medical LLC HSBP1015A00035: Atlantic Diving Supply Inc. dba ADS HSBP1015A00040: The Janz Corp. HSBP1015A00041: Altitude Technologies Inc. dba Chinook Medical Gear HSBP1015A00042: Tri-Tech Forensics Inc. dba Rescue Essentials HSBP1015A00043: Tactical Medical Solutions Inc. These BPAs, which expire March 24, 2022, are being modified to extend the BPAs through June 24, 2022. The modifications will include a 1-month option period that, if exercised, would extend the BPAs through July 24, 2022. The purpose of these extensions is to allow continued use of the BPAs to fulfill mission-critical requirements while the agency conducts a competitive acquisition for new medical supplies contract vehicles. This is not a request for quotations or proposals. A solicitation for the successor contract vehicles will be made available through the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested vendors are encouraged to monitor SAM for future notices regarding the successor vehicles. When a solicitation is issued, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
