The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue s sole source extension of up to three (3) months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP118DE4000001 with Paragon Systems, Inc. 13900 Lincoln Park Drive, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171-4634. This extension begins 08/01/2023 and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services throughout the state of North Carolina and to allow placement of a new contract to continue critical PSO services at various locations. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Paragon Systems. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
