Rental of Secure Storage Facility for ICE/ERO/Buffalo Field Office
The DHS ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Buffalo Field Office requires secure storage for its Special Response Team assets, currently housed at the Lancaster Police Department facility at 525 Pavement Road in Lancaster, NY. Approximately $500,000 of agency assets are stored at this location. Continued use of the LPD facility is necessary because it centrally supports the Buffalo Field Office and the Batavia detention facility and is within about five miles of Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, which is critical for SRT deployments to assist ERO flights. Market research and consideration of commercial and law enforcement sources within roughly 10 minutes or 5 miles of the airport determined that LPD is the only source that can meet the Statement of Work specifications for secure storage. This requirement is therefore structured around continued use of the LPD secure facility.
