The TSA CEB requires an Agilent CrossLab Silver preventative maintenance agreement for its Agilent Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) Single Quad system with no headspace. This maintenance is necessary to ensure proper operation of the CEB analytical lab equipment used for mission-critical research and analysis of Canine Explosive Training Aids (CETA). These aids are used by canine teams in the TSA National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP) for training and mission readiness. Based on past experience, Agilent Technologies is the only qualified vendor. As the OEM, Agilent has readily available replacement parts, uses the same OEM parts for replacements, and provides Agilent-certified technicians with the necessary equipment software.
