The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.303-2 with The GEO Group, Inc (Geo). for additional requirements at Broward Transitional Center (BTC). BTC is a Contract Detention Facility that is owned and operated by Geo and has been under contract with ICE since 2015. OAQ intends to procure, on a sole source basis, transportation mileage, on-call guard post hours, and the installation of an additional generator and fencing throughout the property. ****** A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. *****No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirements listed above may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
