Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The purpose of this action is to provide a notice of intent that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a sole source modification to Contract HSBP1015C00064 to increase the contract ceiling value to continue Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Services under Option Year 9 and include the opportunity for a six-month option to extend services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This will allow contract coverage for the remaining performance period while protests are being adjudicated under the protested contract. The National Aircraft and Maintenance Contract supports a fleet of 185 fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft (excluding the CBP P-3 Aircraft and Unmanned Aircraft Systems) of various types and models, located at civil and military airports along the nation's land borders and within the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. These aircraft are supported at approximately 34 locations in the Western Hemisphere. The Government intends to exercise the six-month option to extend services which will permit performance to continue October 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. The Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305(a).
