Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The purpose of this action is to provide a notice of intent that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a sole source modification to Contract 70B02C18C00000069 (formerly Contract HSBP1010C00120) to increase the contract ceiling value to continue Vessel Maintenance and Logistics Services under Option Year 9 and include the opportunity for a six-month option to extend services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This will allow contract coverage for the remaining performance periods during the recompete of this acquisition. These services consist of a continuation of vessel maintenance and logistics services necessary to ensure that the Government has the numbers, types, and properly configured marine vessels available where and when required to meet the Government's operational commitments. The nature of the work ranges from complete marine vessel overhaul (depot level maintenance) to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and logistics requirements. The anticipated contract period will be from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020 for Option Year 9; with an opportunity for a six-month Option to extend services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. The Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305(a).
