The Federal Protective Service is extending an existing contract to continue protective security officer services at the St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, DC. This extension is being done on a sole-source basis to allow time for the award and transition of a follow-on contract for these services.

This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer services at St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, DC to allow time to award and transition the follow-on efforts for these services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with the Triple Canopy, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 6.103-1 (FAR Class Deviation 25-11) entitled “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov following award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million.
