The Federal Protective Service intends to issue a sole source contract extension for up to five months to the incumbent contractor, North American Security, Inc. The extension begins on February 1, 2026, and will provide continued armed Protective Security Officer services throughout the state of Arkansas. This action is to allow time for the placement of a new contract for these critical services. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no Request for Quote will be issued. The government is proceeding under sole source authority.
