The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to six months to the current ordering period of an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract, 70RFP218DEC000019, with Hana Industries, Inc., 841 Bishop Street, Suite 1050, Honolulu, HI 96813-3921. This proposed extension will provide for continued protective security officer services at two IRS locations in Washington, DC and Maryland to allow time to award and transition the follow-on effort for these services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Hana Industries, Inc. under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to beta.sam.gov following award.
