This requirement is a modification to an existing Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) task order for Operations and Maintenance support services to the SAFETY Act Management System to include critical IT functionality, cybersecurity compliance, and Help Desk support. Due to unforeseen delays in the deployment of the new and modernized SAFETY Act Management System II (SAMS II), this extension is necessary to mitigate a lapse in services by keeping the legacy Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act Management System (SAMS) online, while awaiting the release of the modernized portal, and performing a large data migration effort upon release. This modification procures additional work within scope and increases the ceiling of task order 70RSAT20FR0000129 without considering other awardees pursuant to FAR FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B).
